ReplyDeleteThere are 24 boys and 16 girls on the first day of school.
ReplyDelete15 percent of 6 is 40. There are 40 kids in the class. 60 percent of 40 (for boy percent) is 24. there are 24 boys. Taking 24 away from 40 reveals that there are 16 girls in the class at the beginning of the year.
