2/12=0.1 =1/6
The son got six acres,

Answer:2 acres to each grandchildren.Explan:Their was 12 acres and the son got half the land, which is 6 acres so subtract six and that leaves you sixs acers and then their is the grandchildren you have to divide 6 by 3 and and that gives you 2.
