7th grade day!

7-1: complete 2 out of the 3 worksheets on fractions that were started in class... do the 3rd for a raffle ticket

7-2: reflections and translations    pg: 292 1-12 all    and    pg:298   1-16 all   you will need graph paper!

TIMMS day work for 8th graders

Today was TIMMS testing.... John made sure to ask the cordinator what the "T" stood for... she had to look it up! It was Trends... She originally said The... anyway classes are shortened to 1/2 hour each.
8-1 and 8-2: Anchor Assignement was handed back- If you are not happy with your grade, email or see me for a time to make it up-  Complete page 357 #'s 1-19 all in your book... due thursday

8-3: Solving Problems with Percents WS 6-2... notes are in your flipper!

7-3: Linear Discoveries packet... you will need the graphs completed in class to do this packet... be descriptive and clear!

vacation...

There will be no homework over vacation.... Report Cards however will be going home on Friday before vacation and SMI reports are included. Skills on the 2nd and 3rd page should be practiced regularly to increase those scores... look them up on IXL.com!   Have a safe vacation...

All 7th and 8th graders have taken the SMI test either on Tuesday or Wednesday... All 8th graders have a report that states what they need to practice... Most students increased their Quantile level!! Great job- those that improved most also have been keeping up with homework and classwork!

April Raffle Problem

Ellen and Lauren are covering a rectangular prism with special paper. The prism is 20 inched long, 8 inches wide, and 6 inches high. They must cut out a one-piece net that fits the prism exactly, with no overlapping or gaps. What are the dimensions of the smallest sheet of paper from which they can cut the net?

worth it?

Do you regularly check for homework here? Is it worth my time to post everyday? leave me a message if so...  the homework is always posted in my room, as well the 2 resource rooms and I take at least 5 minutes per class out of instruction time to make sure it is in the planners....
