This is an 8th grade NECAP QUESTION! - remember 7th graders, 51 more days and your 8th graders, so try it!!

LOOK AT THE FOLLOWING PATTERN OF NUMBERS:
0,2,6,12,20...
WRITE THE NEXT TWO NUMBERS IN THE PATTERN AND EXPLAIN THE PATTERN USING MATHEMATICAL SYMBOLS AND WORDS.

  3. The next 2 numbers are 30 and 42.
    0,2,6,12,20...
    FROM ELISSA!

    The pattern starts at 0, then goes up to to. Afterward, it goes up to 6. When the patter went from 0 to 2, it added 2. when it went from 2 to 6, it added 4. 6 to 12, it added 6, and so on. The pattern goes up by adding the next even number up. because of this, the pattern is fully made up of even numbers.
