What is the largest number less than 10,000 that is divisible by both 36 and 60?

  1. 9,000 divided by 60=150 and 9,000 divided by 36=250. I used guess and check on the first time.

    10000/60=166.6666666 166*60=9960

    9972-36-36=9900 9960-60=9900
