Hi its Natalie who realllllyyy wants that CD
ReplyDelete35 min per cut, 24 hour barber shop. 35 times 24 equals 840. One hour equals 60 min. So 840 divided by 60 equals 14. So 14 hours?
Ben and Natalie... good job posting and trying, however both answers are not clearly explained and labeled... Nat- check your labels, you might find you answer will change by looking at mins vers hours... Ben - reread the question and make sure you answered it with labels!
ReplyDeleteGood job to Ashley A. and Jack G. who wrote the answer on paper and turned it in to me! thier tickets are already in the jar!
A hair cut takes 35 minutes. The thirties add up easily to make a number of hours, however, it takes 12 groups of five to make a whole hour because there are 12 fives in 60 and 60 minutes in an hour. For twelve groups of five, there must be twelve groups of 30 minutes. 30 times 12 equals 6 hours, plus the 12 groups of 5 equal 7 total hours.
ReplyDeleteThe answer is
7 hours,
however, 7 hours could be doubled or even tripled to get 14 or 21. My guess is that since it is a 24 hour barbershop and it is a busy day, that the answer is 21, however the question does not specify. any of the above answers could be right,
7,14, or 21
You have to multiply the average time it takes to do a haircut times how many hours in a day. Then you need to divide that number by how many minutes in an hour. You should get 14, but I could be wrong. ((35*24=840) (840/60))
