7-3: pg 144 #'s 8-40 even- be ready for a mid chapter quiz!

8th grade homework due monday
8-1: pg 95 12-42 even
8-2: Redo page 101 using the notes we took in class today... try some of the odd problems and check answers in the back of the book!
8-3 page 85 #'s 1-25 all be prepared for an integer quiz monday!

Island Puzzler

Hawaii is the only state completely made up of islands. Rhode Island has ______(A)_____ islands but lies primarily on the U.S. mainland. _____(B)______ of the 50 states border an ocean.

 (A)  If a circle is divided into 180 equal parts, how many parts must be removed in order for 80% of the circle to be left over?

(B) Find x if (x+1)squared  = 400 and x = lxl.

All Students should be working on IXL about 45 minutes per week... They should be practicing the skills that the SMI test indicated were weak... If you need a new printout of those skills, let me know...

It's the Weekend!!

7th graders! all classes took chapter tests on friday-
7th graders! all students received a personalized, itemized list of topics they need to work on based on the results of the Scholastic Math Inventory Test taken on Wednesday this week... Use IXL to practice those skills!

7-2 and 7-3! you need to complete the Integer Response... remember it is graded for content and communication... use RAVE format and complete sentences!
